The workshop has big daytime loads from fabrication equipment, so we sized the system to cover as much of that as possible. Two Fronius 50kW inverters sit in a dedicated area of the shed with the smart meter managing export to the network.

Since the install we have stayed on as the site’s solar contractor. When the roof needed repairs we removed and labelled the panels, then reinstated them afterwards, and we check the inverters whenever the client flags an issue.
