Without a battery, most of your daytime solar is exported for a few cents. A battery keeps it for the evening, when your household uses the most and grid power costs the most.

Battery rebates 2026
Federal and WA support can be combined.
Eligible Synergy customers may combine the Federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program with the WA Residential Battery Scheme. We confirm your exact eligibility and show every discount line by line in your proposal.
Estimates for batteries installed 1 May–31 December 2026, using 6.8 STCs per eligible kWh at a $40 STC value and the Synergy WA rebate. Not a quote; actual amounts depend on approved usable capacity, install date and scheme rules.

How big should my solar system be?
It depends on your usage pattern, roof space, phase and whether you plan to add a battery or EV. We size from your bills and usage, not a generic package.
Can I add a battery to my existing solar?
Usually, yes. We check your existing inverter, switchboard and system age, then recommend either a retrofit battery or a hybrid upgrade.
Will a battery keep my power on in a blackout?
Only if the system is designed for backup. We nominate which circuits stay on, such as the fridge, lights and internet, and confirm it in your proposal.
How do I pay the deposit?
Once you accept your proposal online you can pay the deposit through the proposal itself or by direct transfer. We book your install as soon as it lands.
