10kWh battery
About $2,720 federal + $1,300 WA = ~$4,020

Store your afternoon solar and use it at night. We size the battery to how your household uses power, apply the federal and WA rebates upfront, and our own SAA accredited electricians install it.
Eligible Synergy customers can combine the Federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program with the WA Residential Battery Scheme. Both come off your quote upfront, so there is nothing to claim back yourself.

About $4,760 federal + $1,300 WA = ~$6,060
Estimates for Synergy customers with batteries installed 1 May to 31 December 2026, using 6.8 STCs per eligible kWh at a $40 STC value. Not a quote. Actual amounts depend on approved usable capacity, install date and scheme rules. Sources: WA Government, DCCEEW.

We recommend the battery that suits your home and inverter, and check it is on Synergy’s supported list so you get the rebate.

For Synergy customers, the WA Residential Battery Scheme pays $130 per kWh of usable capacity, up to $1,300. The Federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program is applied on top. For a 10kWh battery installed between May and December 2026 the two together come to roughly $4,000. Your proposal shows the exact figures line by line.
Yes, to receive the WA rebate. You join your retailer's VPP, which for most Perth homes is Synergy. You can install a battery without joining a VPP, but the WA rebate is not paid. We explain the VPP terms in plain language before you sign.
Usually, yes. We check your existing inverter, switchboard and system age, then recommend either a retrofit battery or a new hybrid inverter if your current one is not compatible.
Most Perth homes we quote land between 10 and 20kWh. We size it from your usage and bills, not from the rebate. Because the federal discount tapers above 14kWh, a bigger battery only makes sense if you use a lot of power at night, such as air conditioning, a pool pump or an EV.
Selected systems can keep nominated circuits, such as the fridge, lights and internet, running during an outage. Backup needs to be designed in from the start, so tell us if it matters to you.
Yes. Households with a combined income under $210,000 can apply for a no-interest loan of up to $10,000 through the WA scheme, repaid over up to 10 years. We are an approved vendor, and Plenti finance is also available.
